The jungles of Pelanna are dense, and the Cult of the Black Sun is disorganized. If you move quickly, you may be able to avoid notice.
Exiles from around the world have always tried to make Pelanna a home. They served as excellent fodder for the Cult.
The Ekkan Empire has tried and failed to colonize Pelanna for centuries, and their ruins now crawl with the Black Sun. Still, they are also the clearest path through the jungle.
The Ekkan have always overbuilt their temples to Serenity, and so it is little surprise that they have survived the ruin of time. The Black Sun has turned them into fortresses.
Pelanna's mountains are nothing compaired to the rest of the Thursian range, but the Ekkan still put a lot of effort into crossing them. Effort you can make good use of.
The settlements past the Ridgeline Road are too heavily fortified. Fortunately, there is another path – through the sea caves that wind throughout the islands.
The Saurin Priest has chosen the oldest settlement for his grand ritual site, apparently unbothered that it is half-drowned by the centuries. Cultists will bar the way.
The path up into the hills where the sunken temple waits is treacherous, with only a few routes that are passable. There will be no further hiding. You will have to punch through.
These crumbling fortifications are barely able to withstand the waterfalls that cascade through them, but what they lack in walls they make up for in numbers. Push on.
Whether the magic will work or not means little – the Saurin Priest's great crusade will doom thousands. If he wants to sacrifice souls to Malice, ensure he starts with his own.
