    Storyline

Level 9.1 - The Border Fort

The Eternal Empire of the Lightseekers has the longest border with the Voidscar of any realm in the world, and they hold the line with hundreds of border forts and cities.

Level 9.2 - The Sacred Lands

The Sacred Lands around the Celestial City have been attacked by Demons thousands of times, and always recovered. No matter the destruction, they will recover again.

Level 9.3 - The Outer Ring

The rings of the Celestial City are both defenses and layers of devotion. Only the most ardent of believers are allowed entry, and the higher one goes, the most is asked.

Level 9.4 - The Purifying Passage

To travel up the Ascendant Stair to the Inner Ring, one must purge themselves of sin. Thanks to Sakiel's destruction, you will only need to purge the Demons he left behind.

Level 9.5 - The Ascendant Stair

This stair is part civic infrastructure and part pilgrimmage. It may have once been part fortress as well, but it has been far too long since the Celestial City was threatened.

Level 9.6 - The Inner Ring

Once one passes through to the Inner Ring, the Celestial is more temple than it is a place to live. But it is beautiful. Or it was, before Sakiel's corruption.

    Level 9.7 - The Angel's Gate

The passage to the Celestial Palace at the heart of the city was a fortress in truth, not just in name, but as a member of the Angelic Host, Sakiel could bypass its every ward.

Level 9.8 - The Celestial Palace

The center of the Eternal Empire, the Celestial Palace holds the Emperor, the Sacriat, the Host... and the subject of Sakiel's revenge. It has become a battlefield.

Level 9.9 - The Palace Walls

The palace of the Angel Emperor was glorious to behold, but not a bastion. Sakiel has ripped through it, tearing apart anything of beauty, leaving an army in his wake.

Level 9.10 - The Imperial Throne

The Archangel Sakiel betrayed Serenity, betrayed the Lightseekers, and betrayed his Emperor, all for the sake of Malice. He will betray no one else.
