Example of a team

    Storyline

    Level 8.1 - Hallstead

A century ago, the Kingdom of Arshok fell to plague, necromancer cults, and finally the undead Herald, Althar. Few have walked these lands since, and none know what you might find opposing you.

Level 8.2 - House of the Jackel

The Jackel Lord was weak, always bowing to whoever held real power. He was only slow to join the Arshok Heresy because he was discounted by all the other Lords.

Level 8.3 - House of the Mantis

The House of the Mantis defended the borders, so its ruling Lady learned of the Heresy only when they attacked her manor. Outmaneuvered, she gave in... but betrayal is betrayal.

Level 8.4 - House of the Snake

The Snake Lord was an treacherous creature, but he had far more skill than Mantis, and joined the Heresy early enough to exert control over it. It would not save him in the end.

Level 8.5 - House of the Owl

The Owl symbolizes wisdom to much of Amara, but the Owl Lord was more wastrel than wise man. The fool allowed himself to be turned into a monster before the collapse.

Level 8.6 - House of the Fox

All the cunning that Owl lacked, the Fox Lord had in spades. Would that he had used it to better ends – he had been the one to convince the other Lords to follow the Heresy.

Level 8.7 - House of the Stag

The Stag Lord was a master hunter, but his pride left him helpless to the Fox's lies. He remains a powerful enemy still, even after being claimed by darkness.

Level 8.8 - House of the Bear

The House of the Bear had competed with Lion for rule of Arshok for decades, and so was offered no choice to join the Heresy. Dark magic twisted the Bear Lord to Lion's will.

Level 8.9 - House of the Hawk

The House of the Hawk was loyal to a fault. When the Lion Lord forged the Heresy, Hawk did not even question. They followed, blindly, into sin.

Level 8.10 - House of the Lion

The Lion Lord could have been a great warrior and a greater king, even for the short time he would have lived. But illness and pride drove him to madness, and madness, to heresy.
